Dreams between waking up and waking up
    #3238786 - 10/10/04 09:54 AM (4 years, 2 months ago)

You know what I'm talking about. When you wake up, but then decide to fall asleep again. That's the time when my dreams are the most vivid they ever are. Is it just me, or ARE they more lifelike and easy to remember?

Just today I had a dream I was hiking (with my family maybe), and we stopped near the top of a mountain (it was very warm though) where there was a small pond in a little indentation of rocks (I'd say it was 8 feet across, 20 feet long). So I decided to swim across for some reason, and I saw a tiny little orange and white thing in the ground. I thought it was a pin of some really weird mushroom (a big pin though). When I came back about two minutes later, it had matured, but only half of the cap (orange) was there; the other side was just white and looked like a continuation of the stem. I didn't eat it cause I bet mushrooms still taste like crap in dreams.

Ya I know what you're talking about. I think you really only remember most of your dreams right at the end of the sleep cycle.

I know what you're talking about. I have the same. Late-morning dreams are very vivid and very easy to remember! I love them! Do you keep a dream journal? It works very good for remembering dreams better!

I believe that the only time you really "Dream" is at the tops of the sleep cycles. Thats why sometimes if someone wakes you up in the middle of the night you could have been dreaming and could say "I was having the best dream ever" or whatever. Thats why sometimes when you wake up in the mornings you can't remember anything about your dreams because lets admit it.....none of us finish our sleep cycles because of the alarm clock/morning shroom hunting and if you do get to finish your sleep cycle.....then i'm jealous.

Once I've slept for 8 hours and wake i can keep going back to sleep forever. I just sleep for 15-30 minutes in which i have one crazy dream. This morning i went to universal studios and some crazy water/paint ball park. I love dreams, they are just a little to addicting.

Those dreams are crazy. They always get influenced more by outside things like your alarm clock and people than deep sleep dreams. Last week I was in this girls room and I was "I'll be right back, I've got to use the bathroom" and then I woke up and had to use the bathroom... bummer :-P
