4 years ago I left what I couldnt fit in my car with a friend cross country. We kept in contact a while. But then I suppose we lost each others digits. He got about 1500 dollars wurth of my snowboarding equipment and other little things.
Now how the hell am I supposed to find him!? He is in california somewhere. I know where his parents live or lived. The man hunt begins.

If someone had $1500 worth of my stuff I don't think I'd lose touch!
If you know where his parents are and you know their names can't you look them up and give them a call? I'm sure they can tell you where he is. Also, a private investigator probably wouldn't have trouble finding him, but it'd cost you the $1500 anyway to hire one!

I dont know there names. I know there sons name. and only his first name. I know his mother works at Nolls skate shop in cresent city. He might still work at a mountain I go to. He might be in vacavil or arcadia. I will by my own PI I suppose.
I am sure he loves his new boots and pants and jackets and board and gogles and every thing else I dont remember. I dont mind that he has em. HE deserves em. He was riding with duct tape around his boots. So its all good. I just think its time to collect.

Did you work at a resort? If so, which one? And how'd you like the whole resort experience?

There's websites that will search public records and give you the last known info on a person. They're not free, but most of 'em are only $20-$30. Might be worth a shot to get $1500 worth of stuff back. It's been awhile since I had to do that, so I don't remember the sites offhand, but a Google search on "people locator" or something similar should give you a shitload of links.

I loved it, best time ever. Low pay easy work free food and cheap housing. It worked for me. Sugar Bowl was the mountain aka pack a bowl. I plan on doing it again. The first week I was there it snowed five feet. Then it snowed every night at least 6 inches till march. Best back country, You could ride all the way down to this lake and hop in a back of a truck and dew it maybe 4 times in a day.
Bombs were my alarm clock. They would blast off around 8 am, that let me know that we got freshies and to get my ass in gear.

AWESOME, I always wanted to ride Sugar Bowl. I only got to ride Northstar (kinda lame) Squaw (sweet, but so much of the mountain was just TOOOOOO crazy) and Alpine (Nice mountain, nice mix of crazies and cruisers) in tahoe.
But no where yet has compared to Whistler, OH MY GOD, 5000 + vertical rulz all.
I'm leaving next week to work at Mt. Bachelor. I know it doesn't have the crazy shit, but its supposed to have awesome tree riding, and KILLER spring skiing.
