 question on dunking, please help!

i've heard about dunking and was thinking of trying it after my first flush, but I read a post that put a question into my head, Do you dunk the cake in or out of the jar, do you dunk the jar with the cake inside, or dunk just the cake for 24 hrs?

You can just place the cake in its jar, and fill it with water to the top+lid! This is the easiest, i think...

it's easiest and safest to do it in each cake's jar, prevents contams from spreading, if present, and keeps cake submerged.
