Thanks papayafuzz! Inspired by my success I went hunting later this afternoon:
Type of area I looked in (grass beside the ditch):
Nice little group of about eight P. semilanceata:
Whole find:
Its about 115 specimen which is not that great considering it took me about 3 hours in all. But it's not all that bad either - no tripping on glue tonight!

Well you should consider yourself lucky then cos all I found was 15 and I went there in two days. But I'm going to try few other places soon... hope I have better luck then.

Repton, could you give me some advice for cutting up/measuring the amount for putting into a vegicap? for a medium trip with visuals.
Hope everyones hunting is going well, so far here (S.Wales U.K i have found 1 Liberty cap) The weather has been too hot so far.

Dear god, I wish I had the macro lens you used to take that picture of the bug.

Nikon CoolPix 995 has macro option build in.. no extra lens is needed. It can take pics 2 cm from the object.

When I make vegicaps I start by ramming "crispy dry" mushroom through a sieve/mesh to produce a somewhat fine powder. Then with a peice of card rolled up like a super tight roach that fists the inside circumferance of your gelcap cram the pre-powdered mushroom into the large half of the cap until it wont take any more, then a bit in the end of the small one (enough to pack it out once its closed) and tada, providing you have liberty caps of a similar potency to mine, and you weigh somewhere in the region of 10 - 13 stones you should enjoy a middleground experience with visuals (this is going on experiments carried out by two friends :-P) but as to the certainty of this I cant be sure as this is only the results of gelcaps from one known-to-be potent batch of liberty caps and they do vary, so take care.
The best way to find out would be to do a lower dose or try one not so tightly packed gel cap and figure it out from there. I am pushing 18-20 average sized dried/milled specimens into a single gelcap and one of them at a time is proving popular amoungst my friends ;-)
