i found these whiteish with golden top mushrooms

i found these whitish mushrooms wich definitly apear to be a Panaeolus species growing around a stump in grass in northeast ohio...the stem is real fragile like it with just shatter if and amount of pressure is on it.. and it hollow.. i picked them like 10 minutes ago and im not seeing any blueing...i doubt they are active but i would like to know if anyone can help...i am waiting on a spore print .. as i type this..

Those are probably Psathyrellas, like Psilocybies they drop purple-brown spores, but are much more fragile. Some of them do resemble pans, but Panaeolus spieces eat dung and compost etc. Psathyrellas usually eat wood, and because yours were growing around a stump and are fragile that is probably what they are.

I got 5 on Panaeolus, I find em on goat shit on my local pastures.
