Wow. I just read through the IRC logs. Interesting. I feel sorry for him and his mentality at the time. He was trying to prove a point. Shitty.
I hope more situations like these are avoided more cautiously now, or something. I dunno.

Yes, and every official piece of paper with something written on it is automatically the absolute truth of the matter....??? He didn't intend to die. If you want to argue symantics, you can see he committed involuntary suicide. But not suicide.
Also, I just want to add, I think this is extremely sad - I remember reading about it in the news before I ever even knew what the Shroomery was...and while I feel extremely sorry for the kid, he also did:
one of the stupidest fucking things I have ever heard of anyone doing in my entire life.
