My cat loves to pounce on things, but what happens when they fight back? .
Heres mine:
1. get a WEAK kind of tape, only attatch it to something colorful or shiny if they dont take the bait
2. put it somewhere in the open, preferably in the living room
3. sit down and enjoy the show
if they get really scared or worried obviously go and help'em out , my cat has never gotten scared from the times Ive done it, she just gets initialy startled a little bit that it doesnt want to leave her , she then starts to use her brain power trying to take it off, its funny watching her jump over nothing thinking that'll somehow make the tape come off, though she eventualy got it off pretty quickly today it was still a fun show
again use WEAK tape, nothing that'll hurt them when they or you take it off, its a great way to see how smart your animal is too

I don't think this would work on my dog. He's only interested in things he can eat or chew on. I'm not sure if this would work on him.

My cat will get riled up and start battin at my hands and biting... I'll play around being all too quick for him but when he gets reallly riled then I'll cup my hand over the back of his head... he can't get outta that headlock, and he knows it.
When I do that, he might be as good as a wild cat, but then he acts like nothing ever happened and he's my best friend again.

I wont let my cat get all riled up because she goes into a frenzy ... I swear she wont stop till there is blood drawn. Cats are very strong when they want to be
