Did you touch the place at all? Or was it touched by a shroom at all? In my experience, if you touch a cake in the slightest bit, it WILL bruise. Next time you touch a cake, expect bruising in the area within the next day.

The blue is likely bruising, a response to either being touched or environmental factors such as low rH. Without a pic, it's hard to tell for sure. If you take a cotton swab and lightly brush the area, you can get some info. If it's mold, some of the 'blue' will come off. If it's not mold, things could be fine as-is. Just make sure your humidity is high enough. If there are no pins at all yet, you may want to jump start things with a dunk.

The fuzz at the bottom of the stem should be alright - half the box growing could be a lot of things from light or heat being more on one side than the other to difference in preparing techniques to moisture in the cakes ect. ect. - if some have started growing though it's likely that the blue was only bruising, contamies have a harder time fruiting or doing things other than fighting the intruder. Try looking if your giving everything off to only one side of the grow. Out of curiosity did you dunk in water h202 before putting them in the fruiting chamber?

Bluish to bluish-green to even light green is almost always bruising. Cakes or substrates will bruise when handled, when mushrooms are picked, or simply from evaporation and moisture loss (which is also a pinning trigger). It's unavoidable.
