Mushroom ID, Plz help

Habitat: Michigan/ grass
Gills Dark Brown, attached to stem
Caps: 1.5-2 inches, whitish, yellow in the middle, light brown tint around the edges
Stems: 2-2.5 inches, white, hollow, round
Spore print: Dark brown
Bruises: Dont really know, one kinda mangled one looks like it has light and dark brown bruises on the cap
Scent: not much, kinda like a light dirt smell is all I smell

same habitat, cap 1.5 in yellow in the middle with yellowy orange around edges, stem 3 in, NOT hollow, round, spore sprint dark brown, dont know on bruises or smell, gills are lighter brown not attached

Is this supposed to imply that it is not Psathyrella? Psathyrella gills are often attached.

I'm with Gumby. Those look pretty similar to Psathyrella candolleana.

The difficulty with this question has a lot to do with how much knowledge you have on identifying mushrooms. For example, if you think the cap color is relatively important, you may find Psathyrella candolleana that don't seem to look much like those at all. And you may find other species of mushroom that seem to look "just like" those but aren't even closely related. A quick flip through the photo section of the Audubon Field Guide will probably yield several species of mushroom that seem to look like those to you. As you learn more about mushroom identification your definition of "looks similar" will change. So if you and I were to flip through that book (or any other with a bunch of good color photos) we would probably come up with different lists.
There are several other Psathyrellas that look pretty similar to those. Without a microscope it's pretty much impossible to be certain which species you're actually looking at.
