 Do they sell plexi glass at Home stores like Home Depot?

I need some for my dual chambered terrarium. Best place to look? For the life of me I can't find any flat piece of plastic at my house or anything else I could use as a substitute.

I don't recall exactly, maybe ~ $6.... yeah if i remember it was a little more then i expected to pay.

$6 is right bought a pience there 2 weeks ago. $5.47 or something like s=that to be more accurate.

Be prepared to pay more than you would expect. I just bought a piece of it about an eight inch thick\18"w,24"l,and paid like 12 bucks for it at Home Depot. If I were you I would splurge for the stuff that is around a quarter inch thick because mine warped some due to the moisture. I ended up having to build a frame for it to hold it nice and flat.

Thanks for the advice. I was planning on getting the thinnest. I had no idea it would warp. I'll probably get the 1/4" now.

1/4 inch will warp as well... you can stiffen it if you buy the glue and ues the scrap to make a few ribs... a t ir I shape is best and make sure the ribs are connected to each other as well as the piece you are reinforcing

Home Depot carries just normal plexi glass and they also carry Lexan, the plexi is cheap, but the Lexan will cost a bit more, so just make sure you get the normal plexi glass, Lexan isn't needed for a drip guard

Damn! I bet I bought the expensive type. I only saw one kind when I went to my local Home Depot. I did see the mirrored type which looked pretty cool,but very expensive. Next time I will look to make sure they dont have the cheaper stuff! Thanks discoabe!

Yea, some of the plexiglass there is A LOT more than youd think.
