You know, if they took the time to do a gas chromatograph of hamburgers and say... lettuce, I bet you'd find a lot of the same stuff.

the marlboro man seduced me into smoking 25 yrs ago,now i buy my own tabaco at AU$36 for a 1/4 pound.we aussies are charged thru the arse for smokes.AU$9 for a pkt of 25's(winfields)

This type of "shock truth" really annoys me. Lets see what is really in car exhaust... or in processed food... or in almost any other substance that we consume. We take in more carcinogens per day that I can count. Sure, cigarettes add to the list, but to make cigarettes sound like they are more evil than sitting in rush hour traffic is obsurd. (... and this rant comes to you from somebody that doesn't smoke tobacco!)

Generally I smoke bidis, maybe 2 packs\year.
It's probably psychosomatic, but I get a good solid (shortlived) buzz off the ebony leaf.

I smoked cigarettes for around 5 years....quit for a year or so then smoked cigars for a lil under a year....now I'm smoke free again and hope to stay that way

Smoke one if you got one cause I do. Sorry, trying to quit in between smokes I do. Lost a lot of family to cancer, but just can't seem to shake it!
