Allright you psychedelic bastards!
The Lyceaum has been down for a long time with some kind of perverse and godless server problems, and worse- it is hard to get accurate information on this situation. The Lyceaum was one of the origional, classiest, and most socially vital components of the entheogenic internet. Dear God, what's next- can you imagine a world without the shroomery or Erowid? Didn't think so.
WE MUST SAVE THE LYCEAUM!!! Who's with me?!?

It is strange there is no news at all. It hosted some cool sites like dmtworld, salvia.lycaeum.org etc.. Not forgetting the shroomery used to be shroomery.lycaeum.org, and the hive too.

No one really knows yet. We've tried getting in contact with the owner without much success. The server itself is down and none of the files can be copied, so the site will be back up within a few weeks, in a very bare/stripped-down form.

Someone popped into #shroomery a little bit ago and announced the lycaeum was back up...anyone checked it out?

i just tried it and it didnt seem to work, but i came back to my computer after making a cup of tea and it's back!

Well I didn't have time to look around, and I could see the front page was up, but didn't have the time to see if all the links were working. If I remember right, for awhile, the front page was up but nothing else was working.

The reason for the downtime was a technical error that caused the machine to not show up on the network. It has been resolved by one of the admins and will not happen again.
