I Won A Free Trip!!! Where should I go?

Okay, actually, my husband won it. It is a five day, all expenses paid trip for two to anywhere in the USA.

Any suggestions of where to go?

Edit: My husband just told me that we can go anywhere, not just in the US! :smile:

Oklahoma. Nothing but wide open spaces and cows. Come and enjoy a week of the countryside and low population. Granted theres not much to do here, but you dont have to deal with cityfolk.

Florida is great. I live in the Tampa Bay area, and the beaches are great, the weather is warm, lots to see and do, lots of shrooms....It's great.

Where are you coming from?

what part of the country are you currently in? and is there any time restrictions on travel? I'd schedule to go some place exotic.....or atleast some place I'd like to see but not pay for.....I know get em to send you to the Indy 500.

dude sorry...but Oklahoma????... they won a free trip for two to anywhere in the US, why in the hell would they want to go to the middle of nowhere with nothing but cows? Any major city in the US, you can drive 50 miles or so (give or take a few), and be out in the country with cows.

My husband just told me that it is not just for the US...we can go ANYWHERE!!

Hawaii, Vermont.. Oregon, Seattle Washington.. The Grand Canyon.. The Redwood Forest in California.. I'd go to maui or burlington vermont, or seattle ya know

In that case than i'd pick... Germany or Holland, Vancouver Bristish Columbia, Barcelona Spain.. Probably holland or germany, or london, maybe Spain that'd be cool.

if you want to chill out and stuff at a beach there is a very nice island outside the coast of tanzania called zanzibar- i love that place, has great people and alot of things to see :smile:

It was the first site I found about this place. Its an Island outside Thailand, they have beach party's there and alot of beautifull sites. Its easy to travel back and fort from island to island in this area and to thailand... but here's the bonus about this place. On this island, Ko Pha Ngan, they sell psychedelic mushroom shake's legally and weed... legally. They have festivals and all types of crazy beach party's there. Plus I think now is a nice time of the year to travel there. I think this is the place. I havent been there, but from what my friend says this is the place to travel if you come upon the opertunity you have.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, and I hope your trip is real, but I've seen a lot of scams where a person gets a "free" trip, but the fine print says you have to stay at a certain resort or otherwise make a purchase in order to get the free trip and it turns out to be not only not free, but horribly overpriced...

i would check out the co that gave you the free trip with the BBB or do an internet search to see if its a scam before you send them money

No, my husband won it from a sales contest at work. Believe me, I'm as skeptical as they come, but I don't think his company would bullshit him like that!

I really like all the suggestions too...thanks guys. Tonight when he comes home we're going to discuss where to go. :wink:
