The Physiologic Effects Psilocybin & LSD???

I have a quick question...
What are the effects of Psilocybin and LSD on the heart, lungs, CNS....I guess my questions are:
1. Are they vasoconstrictors or vasodialators? 2. Do they depress breathing? 3. Do they depress the CNS?
Thanx in advance.

Man I wish I had buds to pick like those.
I'd dry them. I'd bust them up. I'd pack them into my bowl.
I would appreciate the gift I would be given.
I want to learn more about growing weed. Mushrooms were so easy to grow, I feel like a pro now. I don't know anything about growing plants. I wish I had a weed growing mentor, like Ricky or someone. Then I could grow really good weed the first time.
I was watching this movie yesterday and someone said "figure out what you want in your life (or out of life, something like that) and spend the next twenty five years getting it. bit by bit."
I don't know what all I want for my self, but I am sure I was mushrooms and marijuana in my life for as long as I can foresee.

Hmmm... he asked about the physiological effects of LSD and shrooms, and here we are talking about how to grow some dank ass buds? Let's get back to his question...
1. They are vasocontrictors (Especially LSA + LSD) 2. They don't depress breathing 3. Not sure about this one

The Hasler paper is 2003. I found the PDF file on it at erowid.com
Rather confusing since they also left off the page numbering. It says Neuropharmacolgy but then it says published ont he internet.
I just added it to my bibliography. I also have to go back to the article at erowid and write in some of the references on that.IT is a shame I cannot copy a line when in PDF format.
I will say as a hole, that paper and the research made no sense to me. I could have found a lot better reasons for other studies than that.
When I look over some of the pharmacological papers and the clinical research done on animals and on humans, s0ome are intereting and understandable and other research projects were completely useless.
The first research on psilocybian shrooms was conducted by Michael Levine in 1917.
Levine, Michael. 1917. The psychological properties of two species of poisonous fungi. Mem Torrey Botanical Club vol. 17:176-201. October. Describes several chemical induced techniques used on animals in mans first attempt to investigate the unusual effects attributed to the consumption of fungi causing a cerebral mycetismus in humans (Panaeolus venonosus (syn.=Panaeolus subbalteatus). These laboratory tests came about after the author had read of several intoxications caused by the accidental ingestion of certain species of Panaeolus mushrooms. Animals in this study included: Rabbits, Ducks, Frogs, Dogs, Turtles, cats, n mice and/or rats.
Unfortunately Dr. Levine did not choose to test the mushrooms on himself and so failed in determining what caused the intoxicated reported effects of this species. Thus it lay hidden in antiquity until the early and late 1950s.

Lsd is a vasodialator, I don't know about shrooms. Both are stimulents and increase heart rate and breathing. They are also CNS stimulants.

According to a new study just released, taking a combination of LSD + Mushrooms can cause you to kill cats and have sex with their corpses in allies...
-------------------- Plutonium is one of the most toxic substances known. If inhaled, a thousandth of a gram can cause massive fibrosis of the lungs, a painful way to go. Even a millionth of a gram in the lungs will cause cancer. If eaten plutonium is metabolized like calcium. It goes straight to the bones where it gives out alpha particles preventing bone marrow from manufacturing red blood cells. The best way to avoid inhaling plutonium is to hold your breath while handling it. If this is too difficult wear a mask. To avoid ingesting plutonium orally follow this simple rule: never make an A-bomb on an empty stomach.
