This is the only explination I could find.
It sounds like she threatened to attack the servers (after she was threatened)... all I see are threats. I don't think she fucked with the poll... because of geo's responses in the above link.
I don't know who to believe.
Don't really care.
This is obviously, "He said, she said."
She threatened the server, that was a BIG NoNo... but she has been blamed for more than she did.
Since she has no voice in here, I thought I'd post the link.
Disclaimer: PsiloKitten does not know me well. I do not know her well. I, probably, know Mr. Mushrooms better. I was just getting to know PK when OTD exploded.
I'll miss her, she was a cool cat in my book. I was looking foreward to more Shroomery discussion with her.
That said, she did break the rules. THAT said, she only did, after she fealt personally betrayed by the people who make the rules.

It saddens me to see that while I was on hiadis from the boards so much negativity seems to have sprung about. I hope people can learn to be better to each other, and quit trying to start trouble. Everyone chill, and have a shroomin good time.

well, way to wake up, friend. democracy dosent work when no one cares. people like to think that they can and are making a difference because... well... it feels nice. but the reality is: any popular democracies you can mention are not democracies in any way shape or form. i bring the classic example of the united states of america as my case in point. the USA fixed the votes in the bush election, went to (i avoid the word war) ass-kicking in afghanistan and iraq when THE WHOLE WORLD rallied in protest against it. they manipulate the media to blow smoke in peoples faces about the war, about drugs, about fucking everything. yet this is what people call a democracy.
it is bullshit, and as you and all the rest of us found out in this microcosm of The Shroomery: democracy just plain dosent work because there are always sad people out there who just want to fuck with other people and ruin what they have. your voter frauds are evidence of that. computer viruses are evidence of that. one might argue that the "war on drugs" is evidence of that too.
my advice is this:
if you really want to fix the shroomery, eject those malicious motherfuckers who just cause problems. and then, your problems will be solved. i am all for restricted forums, because then filtering out of baddies could be in effect. furthermore, i think that the whole site should be restricted in that way. if they cant get get along, kick 'em. of course, this might be a little more difficult to achieve in practice than in theory. banning IPs might eb an option, but the effect, i think would just be that those users with seniority would have a greater automatic respect than they do now, for those who just fuck around would be constantly ejected and would never earn their seniority . but i am on a public terminal and am out of time, so my input ends here.

This is all pretty funny. I don't even know of this forum, never posted it in, never read it really, I just got emails from geo .. and a bunch of drama and it's REALLY HARD to dissect what really went on here, of course I figured it out, and it's sort of a bad management scenario.
There's so much "emotion" here that it impairs your judgement to a large degree.

No drama.
A lot of you guys seem to be having issues with your place in society, or something like that. Like you're actively so disgusted by what you see that you simply fail to function on anything but an emotional level.
Not that I'm saying everybody should conform, but you should at least realize where you stand and be happy with it. Be comfortable in your own skin.
This forum seems to propagate a lot of drama, which is pretty interesting. It's a simple issue, that doesn't really need this "community forum" feel of it to exist. LOL everybody here thinks they have say, so they're letting their emotions come out ...
Speak with logic instead people.
It's logical to assume that there is an actual threat when someone threatens your server. Never assume a threat is dormant.
It's also logical to think that if a forum is going to cause actual legal issues for the owner, or financial issues (bandwidth consumption, etc), then that would enable the forum to be expeditatedly taken away with, or put on a "toll" basis... You could of cours e take other measures, and make the forum "hidden" -- although I don't see anyone explaining to me what hidden really means.
There has to be some catalyst driving this reaction... What is so bad about this forum that it has to go?

I was one of those adamant about closing OTD but it is a popular forum and I was told it will never go away. I'm gladdened to see that at least it's being considered.
