This is a simple meal to make with ingredients you probably have in your fridge, well except maybe the tenderloin. The aroma that comes with the meal is to die for.
The Goods: 1. 1 2 1/2lb Pork tenderloin roast 2. 1 sweet onion 3. 1 bulb of garlic or six cloves 4. 1 tablespoon olive oil 5. 2 chicken flavor cubes + 1 cup water or 1 can of chicken broth 6. Salt and pepper to taste 7. Potatos and carrots/optional/ stuffing is a good side too.

Quarter your onion and peel six cloves of garlic and throw them in a slowcooker/crockpot. Also, I'd like to mention using the metal of your knife to wash your hands to get rid of the onion smell works like a champ and takes care of the garlic as well.

Season the pork tenderloin roast with salt and pepper.

Now, put olive oil in a frying pan and heat'er up good. It's time to sear, well just brown, all six sides of the roast.

To get the harder sides of the roast brown use a fork or other kitchen utensil to stablize the roast and hold it upright. Preferably use a utensil that is long, as the oil is popping out and completely burning my hand in this picture.

Now place the browned roast on top of the onions and garlic and pour cup of chicken broth over roast.

Cover and set to low for two hours. It's at about that two hour mark when the wonderful aroma fills your house.

Now, you can put your carrots and taters in at the start, but I chose to wait two hours before adding mine. Reason is the last time I put taters in the crockpot at the start of cooking they literally turned into shit and ruined my stew.

The recipe calls for a grand total of 6 hours cooking time. Be careful with this time though, as even the slightest overcooked pork can be so dry you'd be convinced your were eating a wool sweater. So check often after the 4 1/2 hour mark.
Carefully remove it from the crockpot and place on a cutting board.

Slice it up as thick as you like.

Serve with your carrots and taters, and you can make gravy from the juices in the crockpot. Other sides can include stuffing or apple sauce or both.

Now thats good eatin.

Once i had some pork tenderloin pretty much as you made it, with a blueberry sauce on top. It was heaven on earth.

another variation is to take tomatoe basil salad dressing, using a BBQ sause injection needle ( I think gauge 30 or something that big ) suck up all of the oil. Then inject it into the tenderloin and rub the rest of the dressing onto the outside of the roast. BBQ the roast untill it is done, then enjoy.
