 Dry Salvia leaves

I just checked my stash and realized i still have some 5x salvia left! I thought it was gone! I've tried it but never really had any life changing effects, just very mild visuals and a sort of "dreamlike" state for a min or two.
Anywho, has anybody ever "broken through" on just plain salvia smoked? I've tried smoking that because I didn't want to overdo it on the first go or two, but is it ever possible to really get a mean trip off of it? Or an average one for that matter?

I have only used the plain leaf and I have broken through at least four times.

trip on anything else lsd, mescaline, psilocybin, dxm, LSA, what have you and smoke salvia at your peak (bumpy ride mixing salvia with DXM tho)
the "very mild visuals" effect when you're already seeing shit is intensified like a thousand times

I've had very intense trips from dry salvia leaves. My buddy has a homemade bong that gives huge hits. The bowl is huge too. To trip I would just load the bowl all the way (after grinding the leaves to a fine powder, so a lot fits in the bowl). Then light it up, hold the flame on the whole time, take a huge toke, hold it in as long as you can, then repeat as needed. I don't think I have ever finished a bowl.
Also, like s2dope said, you trip hard if you are on something else. One time I was on mushrooms and not really tripping (just getting very mild effects), then I took one salvia bonghit and 1 nitrous oxide hit. It was enough to give me 5 minutes of visuals, mind trip, and a general feeling of intensity.

I think I just need a more efficient smoking device... I've tried a pipe, but it doesn't do the trick. I'll have to bust into that 5x tho, I just didn't wanna use it all up if I knew that reg leaves wouldn't do much

mix vodka with juice, drink it all. take the empty vodka bottle and poke some holes in the bottom. Shave off the top of the jug. Fill jug. Affix bowlhead to plastic cap.
