Hey, I made that announcement. Are you criticizing my handiwork? 
Seriously, we had to disable the search function, so that the board could run at relatively normal speed, for all the users, while we're on this slower, temporary, server -- the search function is a major resource hog. We are building a new, faster, server right now, and hopefully, we will be able to restore the search function by next week.
