 Sceletium Tortuosum question

ok, I have done research for Sceletium Tortuosum at erowid(not much there). I recieved a bag of leaves(1 oz.) from an online vendor and I was wondering how to perform an extraction. could it be performed like a salvia extraction?
I noticed that you can make a chew out of it. what is the best method of using Sceletium Tortuosum?

I believe it is extractable with alcohol.

thats one answer solved. I will try the extraction soon. I will post results. Is there anything I should be worried about when extracting it. anything lethal. I know just evaporate the rubbing alcohol first before smoking. anyting else I should be worried about.

Many people here grow it. It is a beautiful plant, high ornamental value imo. Here is a pic of my Scelly, its a bit old, but I dont have a camera at the moment
It has grown a lot since this pic was taken

I am almost to the part of adding the dry leaves back to the extract.
it should be about 4 more days when I am done.

ok I am on the finally stages.. I put some dry leaves in the extraction to absorb the fluid. It should be about 1 more day before its ready to be smoked.

ok I am trying it in about 30 mins. if anyone things I need to do something first before smoking it please post now.. I am just drying the alcohol and then smoking it off the leaves that soaked up the remaining liquid. should I do a wash(w/ water) so that will get rid of the alcohol taste to it?

ok update.
I snorted some and about 30 mins. I started to get the effects.. I am a bit lighted right now but I am happy as can be.
it works really well.. when I smoked it it didn't last that long before I returned to base line. snorting it came on good. it been about 20 mins after I started to feel the first effects.
I wonder if the pharm kind is better than mine? if so I might want to try it to compare them.

i took a handful of Sceletium Tortuosum and put it in a pot of water and boiled it for about 10 mins. Strained and drank. Effects were noted but i'd boil it longer next time.
