Concurrent Trip Report: DXM (right now

Edit: moved this from general questions to ODD, cause I fucked up. It took me a while to figure this out
T= 2h I took some coricidins for the second time tonight, (first was one week ago) just to see if I was allergic or enzyme deficient, tonight I took a bit more I didn't take that much though, took some coricidin (can't post dosage ??) I also smoked some weed that was good, which did help with the nausea. The most noticeable thing is that time really is fractal, its like the real world works like music: on a series of concentric loops of different lengths. Anyone get this? I just went for a skate, got coffee, skated down a huge parking structure, all about an hour after taking it. By the end of the market, i wasn't sure i'd make it back here ITs tough to communicate because of this, but since the text doens't go away with the loops I can type right now. One of the tracks is a reoccuring loop of me looping back on the track, thinking "That made sense, even though I didn't understand why then, I get it now." This causes euphoria, and then I forget, and it happens all over again. Its over mundane things, they manifest themselves everywhere. Its almost like I can feel how terence mckenna describes time being fractal in the Invisible Landscape. Another loop just happened, it took me a while to think of that title because so much happened in such a short period of time. Its definitely weird stuff. Really fun at times, sometimes gets your heart beating a little bit
i'm gonna do some thinking right now, peace out for the time being
T = 2:30 Took a shower and couldn't feel how hot the water was at all. Kinda scary, so I took a luke warm (I'm guessing )shower, based on looking at the knobs.
When I put trance on, the world makes more sense than without it.

Dont use coricidin its got other nasty chemicals in it.
From what i heard CPM can cause severe intestinal bleeding at high doses.
I would get something that has just DXM in it.

The white man can never win another war on the ground. His days of war, victory, his reign -- his days of ground victory are over. Can I prove it? Yes. Take all the action that's going on this earth right now that he's involved in -- tell me where he's winning. Nowhere.
Why some rice farmers -- some rice eaters ran him out of Korea. Yes, they ran him out of Korea. Rice eaters with nothing but gym shoes, and a rifle, and a bowl of rice took him and his tanks and his napalm, and all that other action he's supposed to have and ran him across the Yalu. Why? 'Cause the day that he can win on the ground has passed.

Yeah, stay away from Coricidin. They have new Robotussin cough gels out now with only DXM. There is also a two dollar coupon you can print out from the Robo site.

I bought this box before the robos came out, I'll get those from now on. This isn't something I want to do much, i just had to see how it was. I like it and will do it again, but not for a while.

The coricidin trip and the pure DXM trip can be very different. The chlorpheniramine in Coricidin is anticholingergic and can profoundly effect he experience.

ok, that trip was on thursday, and today is sunday, I finally feel normal again. I will never again take coricidin. I don't know if it was a coinscidence but since that night I have been both spaced out and depressed. Its been a shitty couple of days. I feel great now, but I had to meditate, run, meditate, do a bunch of homework, and now I'm back to my old content self. Is depression and just general mental malaise common in the days following a DXM trip? I took such a small amount, but I am p450 deficient so could that have something to do with it?

Yes, very common. That's gotta say something about DXM's "dangers".

In comparison, the days after a shroom trip are always so wonderful and euphoric, you're right, it does say something about DXM i think. My head felt "hot," especially in the back, all weekend.

Yeah and another thing. People at Dextroverse.org call this the "afterglow" but weren't you pretty much still fully tripping when you woke up the next morning? That's what I HATED about DXM... that was always so fucked up, to wake up fully tripping.

Yea its a fun trip when you want it, but I wasn't execting it the next day. I was disoriented, confused, basically just a dumbass. My friend noticed that I don't even hang out with that much (I had to lie to him because he's a born again christian, he does not approve of overdosing on cough medicine

coricidin is bad. I have done dxm probably close to 150 times, and i have to say i cant even look at a box of CCC without feeling like im gonna throw up. the chlorpheniramine is very bad for you, it dries out the skin on your face alot, once for me to the point of bleeding. given this is only is massivly high doses. anyways, go pure powder, its a much cleaner feeling experience and it comes on faster. definetly worth buying from a RC company.
