 question about shroomery skins

I wanted to suggest a few color schemes for new shroomery skins...but I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing that. Would I have to photshop a screenshot or something to give whomever is in charge of these sorts of things an idea about what I think would look good, and then they'd simply take it from there if one of my ideas were aproved? Or is it possible to simply get a list of all the different things that would need to be taken into consideration, so that I could just write out a list of all the color codes that would match the different things on all the pages, and then hand that over to whomever is in charge (or perhaps simply write em out in a thread or something so that other people could contribute their ideas too if they wanted to) Or...um...am I just wasting my time here?

You mean for the forums or the main page?
For the forums, simply save this page (in internet explorer: save complete page) and then you will find a file SOMETHING.css.
This file defines the color layout of the forum page.
You can edit this file to alter the appearance of the page.
Once you are finished, you can send it to 3dshroom.
