 Spore Prints in the Mail

How safe are spore prints to send thru the mail? In my state, they are illegal. Can any one tell me, are they generally shipped in a plain envelope, or not? Could the post man tell what I got in there? I was considering ordering some prints and having it sent to an accomplice in another state, who could re-wrap it securely and then possibly mail it to me. I would like to grow, but getting a culture sample seems to be the crux for now. Thanx!

I live in the UK, where spores and even growing is legal. I feel for you situation, but you are asking people on this board to assist break the law in your state, providing guidance could put them in a uncomfortable legal position. I would say use your best judgement, good luck.

Prints come in a plain envelope just like a letter. Noone will notice, be assured. I'm sure the company doesn't want anyone knowing what is in the envelope the same as you. My last one came inside of a thank you card. Go for it. Good luck.

Spore prints are just a paper square. Syringes are more likely to get picked up, but IMO spore syringes are a rip off, just get a print and follow a tek for making a spore syringe, and if you can't get hold of a syringe just use a sterilised eye dropper.

For many Newbs a spore syringe is a godsend.

Do the "another state partner deal", just to be safe, specially if you think your mailman is an asshole. Spore prints, as well as other stuff can be detected by looking at the envelope through a light.

I didnt think prints where illegal syringes neither??????? But to grow the actual mushroom is illegal, or am I completly wrong

Spores are not illegal. Except in Georgia and Cali. They are used for microscopy only.

I'm sure the company wouldn't want the spores to be any more conspicuous than you do.

You only have to order once if you follow the honey tek or make prints so go get a po box and order them suckers. the sooner you order the sooner you trip.late
