 what am i doing wrong?

hello all newborn here. well i started this hole caltivation thing about 1mo. ago right. I started with 2 20cc spore syringes.one b , and one am. ok well as of now i have birthed all of my AM. cakes into a Rubbermaid container with perlite. {Fallowed P.F. tek}. this was over a week that i did this. so far inside the grow chamber it is a constant 73-74 degrees 24/7. humidity is reading HI this happens after 90% on the setup i have. Any ways i have 10 cakes in this thing 4 of witch have started to turn blue and the others are doing nothing? What is going on? some of them have what looks like round clumps of raised mycelium on them but so far no shrooms? just looks like they are DIE in there!! should i fan more? Maybe up the temp?? Case them. I don't know? please help. p.s. Why is the b takeing so much longer than the AM.? Any help would be great! THANKS ALL!
P.S. i cold shocked + dunked the last 6 befor birth.

How long have they been in the chamber? Turning blue sounds like they are getting dry.

Just give them more time. They're probably fine. Fan at least 3 times a day.

Sometimes in high humidity situations hygrometers get too much moisture and get stuck on high. After that the humidity is not accurately displayed. Your terrarium my be too dry due to this.

well the first 4 have been in for about 8 days the others have been in for about 2-3 days and the are not blue and have been coldshocked/dunked. the perlite is wet? I take the hygrometer out every 1 or 2 days to let it come back down to norm than ill put it back in. well when i first put the 4 in about a week ago i started to water them with the spry bottle. this would result in direct contact with h202/o2 i have stopped this do to reasons...well do to the fact that i told by self i was loving them to death and to just let them do there thing. as far as the humps of mycelium, what is this?? are i have seen like all the pics on this site but i still don't know if this is primordia or what? Its kinda like wondering around not knowing what to do for them. this sucks lol.

oo yea plenty of light,BUT, its just plain ol light i was keeping them in front of a window but now i have them over a spider lamp? Should i invest into something more??

I use my closet light. It's just a regular old light bulb with this white thing covering it, so it's a soft light. Works fine for me.
What's a spider lamp? Doesn't sound too cool. I hate spiders.
Also, having them in front of the window will cause it to heat up more. Kinda like how your car is way hotter than it is outside if the sun is beating on it.
Also, spray the sides of your terrarium, not the perlite itself. I just learned that today. I guess it doesn't matter where the water goes, as long as it's humid in there. It all evaporates anyway.

The cakes shouldn't turn blue until after a flush. Sounds like they're drying out.
There's a tradeoff between air exchange and humidity. To bring humidity back up fast after fanning, spray the walls and lid of your box. If the sides and lid show moisture you should be fine.
The humps may be primordia. If they are rounded at the end and not spiky, they prolly are. Watch them; they will grow day by day and you will know soon enough. Patience! If the ones that have been in the chamber the longest look different than the newer ones, you're prolly in good shape.
Leviathanx: The water doesn't evaporate in a superhumid environment. The mushrooms use some of it to grow and the rest collects in the bottom of the tank. Eventually, after a couple weeks of spraying, you will have to drain it. Just remove any cakes and pour it off or add more dry perlite and mix in.

why would you want dry perlite in your fruiting chamber....that defeats the purpose of using it?
