how to tell if casing wet enough

So i have my first casing and i was just wondering how do you know it is wet enough fter a few days wothout squeezing the verm?

Clean your hands with Lysol and take a pinch from the casing layer and squeeze.... That's what i do at least! :smile:

just give it a slight misting once a day till pins start to form...that what i do atleast....than when the pins form mist the air not the casing layer...since the mushies draw in water from the humid air and wet mush can mean rotting and contam probs

Mix some coir in with that verm. When it starts to dry out it's color gets lighter.
