Whats with the peroxide bottle? IS that some sort of air filter? Ive seen that before and its always hooked up to an air hose. Does it really work well?

Okay Gabba, I drew you out a diagram (a fucked up one at that) so you can get a picture of whats going on with the peroxide bottle. The bottle has an air stone in it which is connected to an aquarium air pump. The peroxide bottle has a tube which leads to the grow chamber. As the air pump blows air through the air stone, this forms humid sterile air which is forced into the grow chamber. I live in a very dry climate, so this works very well for me, lots of fresh air.

Heres a little cluster of EQ?s on its second flush.

The PESA is showing a few pins. I would like to know some advice to getting better second and third flushes when using straw and poo. For the third flush I plan on laying a thin layer of damp vermiculite to hydrate the casing layer. Any advice or tips on how to get bigger second and so on flushes would be greatly appreciated .

I don't know of any sure fire ways to improve on the later flushes but I believe that adding a light damp casing layer helps to add moisture. I also mist the casing very lightly. My mister puts out very fine mist, I wouldn't recomend a mister that is going to leave big water droplets on the casing, that's just asking for trouble. I may be entirely wrong in my processes but for now that is what I do.

Thanx for the advice. I'v been puting a layer of damp vermiculite after the first flushh, this seems to help. Unfortunately my PESA casing was visited by the "Green Death" as I like to put it. My EQ casing is going into its third fush.

i find that with dehydrater its best to use one with a variable temp setting, or if you dont have one with that just buy yourself a light dimmer, and wire it up and run at a low setting, most of them i believe dry with to much heat and cuz internal blueing which i think knocks the potency down greatly. hope this helps someone, wish i would've known sooner but, hey were all learning
