Thanks. I also used some digital effects on it: tape hiss & noise reduction, amplitude normalization, warm room reverb & change of sampling rate. :cool:

My mic is crappy. Turn the volume up and try them all and you will get a better idea of how I said psilocybe. There is in fact a pronounced "b" in the last syllable. the P. semilanceata turned out the worst. I will see if I can get some better recordings.

I just re-recorded all of the files and added some new ones. The new wav files are much clearer and louder.

I e-mailed them all to Anno.

There seems to be a bit of a stutter when I say "Subaeruginosa" - was that in the original recording? If so, I should do it again. :wink:

Here is the Italian one. I know that Italians are to Australia the same as were rabbits from your other post :smirk:

and I have something that calls me from out there... maybe a carpet python or some nice big parrot...

I can be good with graphic but not as much with sounds... :shocked:

So guys - what do you think now? The differences don't seem so big - except between european & english. Our main problem before was the phonetical notation. :grin:

It would be nice to hear also someone from Asia.
