Picked shroomies that are drenched from rain...

So I've been going around picking shrooms while it's been raining.. my question is how long should I wait to take a spore print? Should I take them immediately when I have the chance or wait for most of the water to dry up.. what would be the best method of doing this? Thank you all in advance.

When I pick wet mushrooms I will set them on a paper towel for a minute then do the spore print. That way the paper for the print doesn't get all wet.
