I'm goin through the same shit man. I have to take an extra semester of college, but my friends graduated and they have jobs. I hardly hang out with them. They don't call me anymore, and mostly just hang out with their significant other. I have a g/f but I need some guy friends to hang out with.
I mean shit, I have a fuckin 42" widescreen HDTV plasma TV with a phat ass THX 5.1 surround sound system, 2 huge poof chairs (poofchairs.com), a bad ass bright as hell 30 gallon fish tank, and tons more. Yet everybody seems to have their own shit to do.
If it weren't for my g/f, and school, I'd probably be a stoner. Well, if I didn't have a g/f I'd go to class high anyway.
And so is life.

There are very few people in this life that you will meet and will be able to get on with completely 24/7. I have maybe (at most) half a dozen friends with whom I would be completely comfortable and happy being around all the time. It's human nature; most people, if you see them a lot/too much, will in some way start to get on your tits, or you'll run out of things to say/do together. That doesn't mean they can't be good friends. There's people I'll see and socialise with fairly infrequently, but when we do meet up, we have a great time. If I saw them every day, we'd probably get bored/irritable fairly quickly.
I reckon it's easy to get these things out of perspective. Some people I know will act like they get on great with eachother, then when you speak to them later individually they'll bitch so heavily and be so two-faced about the other person it sounds like they hate eachother with a passion.
Don't let it get you down. You're lucky to have a girlfriend you really get on with, and when you do meet people you click with, it just makes it even more special. Hope I haven't sounded like a lecturing bastard!, it's just I know where you're coming from.
