Unable to find rye seed in the UK

I'm looking to grow mexicana but I can't find any rye seed. Anyone from the UK know where to get it? I'd apreciate your help.

Yes I had a little trouble finding Rye Grain loads of rye flour but no grain :smile: (google is your mighty friend), I buy from Infinity Foods (well indirectly though a health food shop), but the next lot I will be getting direct, I think they only deliver to the south east.

Hmm, was thinking about that, I think most grains are about the same when it comes down to mushroom munching material, but I think rye is liked because it has a rice like sponge like quality and takes moisture wall.

Anno, have you had any luck with grass seed? its one hell of a lot easier to obtain (ohh and make sure it does not have a 'special fungiside coating' that some seeds have, that would suck.

That?s what I used for mexicana and tampanensis exclusively.

I've e-mailed infinity foods to see if they stock it, if I have no luck there then I'll see if I can get hold of some organic grass seed.

Rye grass seed is not a food item.
It?s a seed to make a lawn.
Don?t confuse it with rye grain.
