I hated this movie. I coulnd't stand hearing Leto's Mom's voice. She creeped me out.

SPUN is a just released movie about meth addicts and labs, starring Jason schwartzman (Rushmore), Mickey Rourke, and Mina sarvaro (sp??). It's not done by Aronofsky though, It's directed by the same swede that did the Prodigy music video for "smack my bitch up" and Madonna's "ray of light" and the WHOLE movie looks like one of his music videos, pretty cool. It also has a pretty heavy sex scene (from what I've heard. Only seen the trailers).
It was about time for another "requiem" thread, seems it pops up every other week. I don't understand why so many people find it disturbing to the point of fear and disgust. This is the kind of things that happen on a day to day basis for many people. Being so close to a major metropolitan area, I see and meet a lot of the same kind of people depicted in the movie. It's tragic to see addiction get to that point, but you learn from others and try to avoid their mistakes.

Sigh, thats a sad thing to think about psilocybe, my friend died from shooting up too much coke a few months ago. Just be careful.

no worries mang... I don't touch coke anymore or stick needles in my arm anymore. This was years ago... should have clairfied that earlier...
