Traiding Dead CD's

For those of you who know me this may be hard to believe, but I have never traded dead music before. I would like to start trading CD's so does anyone know of a good site. OR is anyone here into trading? I'll post a list of what I have to trade in the marketplace if there is any interest.

I just got the first night of Red Rocks July 6, 2003 on a 3 CD set. Interested in a trade? I've traded a bit, but not all Dead. I have some Phish, String Cheese, Dead, and Umphrey's McGee that I've traded for. Let me know about the Red Rocks show

Were you talking about trading the actual CD's or just copies? I'm pretty sure you meant coppies.

www.gdlive.com has an amazing archive of dead shows.....
Anyway I'd be up for trading I've got several shows, and quite a bit of very early shows.

But then again all my friends used to put my ass down when i was into Queen and Electric Light Orchestra? ...If ya need any knowledge as far as Pink Floyd then i am your man but i really dont know much about the Dead so my ears are open....

yes I did mean Burnt CD's of Dead shows which is free to the public as the dead allow their music to be freely recorded and traded. I have to limit the trades to dead only because there are copyright issues with other recorded music and I don't want to break any rules!
I'll trade you that Read Rocks show for June 25th in NJ also a 3 CD set. Check out the setlist and let me know!

Do so, I'll send you home with some good stuff!
Crass.....
I have the Phil zone (I like it) anything else?
Hooty....
I download every day from GDlive but those SHN files are a pain and many of the mp3's are incomplete shows. But it's still the best source on the internet.
TxTec ....
I'm going to have to turn you onto some real music! I love Floyd too but the Dead, well it's hard to put into words!

How does that work out tomatoes? Is the quality good on transfer to CD. The reason I ask is I have about 400 hours of dank shows era 68-78. Alot of them are Betty boards. I want to get them on CD because as you know tape wheres out over the years.

I can answer that China....I've converted several tapes to CD and only the cleanest recordings are worth a dam, a nice clean sound board will come out fair.

did you go directly out of a cassette player into the computer ripple? i'm thinking theoretically that you wouldn't lose much directly converting analogue to digital like that. haven't tried it yet tho. maybe this will get me off my arse.
cc, those betty boards are nice. i'm pretty sure i have a couple of em but don't remember which ones they are anymore. surely know it when i hear it.
i put a lot of that stuff on the bottom shelf in the fall of 95. only recently dusting things off.

Directly to my burner.....but remember that many tapes have a bit of a hiss and wee getting a bit spoiled by the fine quality of Dicks Picks, the from the Vault collection and many other fine cd's out there!
Not to mention the great selection on gdlive, with some fine quality recordings!
