I was watching the funeral for Maynard Jackson the other day (civil rights "father" as well as affirmatice action "father") When good ol' Billy took the stand. What he said next just made me smile, he said that Maynard was not truely the father of Affirmatice Action, he just saw it worked for white folks and used it with blacks. What did white folks do? They racially discrimintated. Straight from the lions mouth.
