Does a hole in one in disc golf count? I can do that for sure...

double eagles, hole in ones, I would like to see a grandmother make a hole in one that isn't on a minuture golf course. But I relent to the point, but the whole debate is the original question of why so many lately compared to the history of the game?

Fuuuuucccck that. Hole in one is 98% luck. You can take the 10 best golfers on the planet and tell them they have a thousand shots between them at getting a hole in one on a par 4. Odds are they'll go 0 for 1,000. Yet the next day some 55 year old business man on his off day will stroll out of the golf course tent with 4 beers in him and just be fucking around and nail a hole in one with his buddies.
A hole in one is extremely hard, yes. But the amount of luck required to score one is astronomical.
A perfect game on the other hand requires retiring 27 batter IN A ROW, while doing it against professionals who get paid millions to hit you. Pitching a perfect game is infinitely the more difficult achievement.

R.A. Dickey for president. Incredible. First time in MLB history a pitcher has thrown back-to-back 1 hit CGSO's with 10+ K's.

The Reds are one of those teams that I wouldn't mind winning it all if my guys can pull it together.

I could see them this year. They got a solid enough rotation. A sick bullpen, and a pretty solid lineup.
Arroyo had a no-hitter through 7 1/3 last night at home against Brewers.

Anyone think the Nats can win the division? Love their talent, just see them fading away in time.

I see absolutely no reason why the Nats can't win that division.

Youth and injuries, would not take them on a bet. Tommy John Strats and Harper it's like a roll of the dice. Without them this team is mediocre at best.

They aren't the only team in the division and I think they are definite comers unlike everybody else. No reason at all to think they can't. Which isn't the same thing as thinking they will. That division is pretty uniformly mediocre. Could they win the AL East? No. They would probably finish last or next to last. But they aren't. They're in the NL East. I'm not impressed with any of them.

Dodgers shut out 5 of last 6, a record. I know they have Eithier and Kemp out but that is pathetic.

Playing the Mets tonight, I think ESPN is showing it. They read their lineup on the radio this morning and it's like a triple A team. Might see it just to see if they get shut out again, keep that record going as the worst ever in a stretch in the season. Have to look up who's pitching for the Mets.
