Learn to RNG breh. Clone your shiny/flawless/near-flawless pokeymen, and get others to train for you in exchange for a clone of the pokemon they're training (or a separate one of their choice).
I do agree that EV training/leveling to 100 is a pain in the ass. I figured out I hated that part of the game awhile back. It's just so tedious :/
I still train mine if I want them done in a very specific way and don't trust other to do it though.
RNG'ing though; that's your answer.....and if you're looking for anything in particular right now, PM me or or something. I might be able to hook you up with your queen piece free of charge.
EDIT: Keyword there was battle btw. A good BATTLE is comparable to a good game of chess.

I can give you some untouched ones for you to train up man. And if there's any question as to what RNG'ing is, it's not hacking. You manipulate the game's random number generator for your desired poke. It's serious shit.

You can get what you're shooting for in a matter of 15 minutes if you're good at hitting the right seed......and it gets easier with practice after you master the mechanics.
It is kind of a bitch to get a handle of it all though.

Supposedly conquest actually does involve quite a bit of strategy but I don't know anyone thats actually picked it up.

This thread is really big now! I went and bought a DSi XL and a DSTwo cart...and I still haven't gotten around to playing any Pokemon games.
But I did play Mother 3, which was a blast.
