Ok as most of you know i get a bit excited after toking up so im just gonna keep this simple 
I drank the debated does orange juice improve your weed high, and guess what, it does! Pretty profound ill say.

I read the other thread and for some reason, I don't feel like I get any higher after drinking orange juice. But maybe it just works for some people and not for others?

And nothing "breaks down" it just gets converted into a form that's more readily bioavailable, and being released from the matrix of the fungal tissue for better absorption. If anything, you add to the psilocybin/psilocin molecules, not break anything off.
t;ldr - you can't eat mushrooms then drink citrus then expect to get higher. It just doesn't work like that.

Yeah that's true. I've done it myself a few times and there's a difference in intensity and also duration. It makes the trip generally shorter, but more intense in how fast it comes on and how hard it hits.
I've never tried it with orange juice, so I'm not sure how that works. It's still citric so I'm guessing it would still work, but lemons are probably the best bet to go with in my opinion.

Ya whatever, I didn't remember the exact science of it all, but IME it does work. I don't know what you mean by convert them to their salt form and then extract them, but if you soak your shrooms in pure lemon juice for a while, and slam it all back, your trip will be shorter lasting and more intense.

Dude, try replacing the MJ with even more OJ, and hypertrip. Studies* show that vitamin C binds to your THC-cx recepticles like tar to a glass bowl. You don't normally feel the vit-C effects after a "good" breakfast because bacon calcifies your pineal.
