The Rum Diary Soundtrack torrent
(by no means the best, but it has some great tracks on it....)
Ok fellas (and ladies...) what in your opinion are some of the best movie soundtracks you've heard? Let's hear your rampage... I'm on the hunt for some more tunes!
Sucker Punch had a fantastic soundtrack too, with a great rendition of White Rabbit on there.

Into the wild.
Eddie Vedder did every song, making his own little solo album for the movie.
Epic.

what was that movie was it that GTA Vice City was based off? (not miami vice... the one about the coke dealer with the goldstein lawyer and they had to bust that cunt out of jail but killed him in a coke rage)

It's not my era of music, but the Forest Gump soundtrack is brilliant.
But, my favourite movie of all, Starship Troopers, has a soundtrack that for me sets the stage for the rest of the film. Most of the time, just seeing the poster is enough for me to hear the crescendo of battle for Klendathu.

Plays like a radio broadcast with great narration from Steven Wright as the DJ. The songs are a pretty eclectic collection of mostly forgotten great stuff from the seventies. Not to be missed.

Surprised no one has mentioned Requiem for a Dream... Two of my favorites are O Brother Where Art Though? and the US version of Funny Games.
