The Mystery Pup - Cactus ID (Trichocereus?)

Hello, this came up in another thread (here), but I think it deserves its own.
I took a cutting (a pup) from an unidentified columnar cactus looking a bit trichocereish. Stetsonia coryne has been suggested as a possible ID, but I don't think that's right, so I'm posting more pics, including the pup's "mother" and a real S.coryne for comparison.

Yeah, sounds likely. I agree that might be it... waiting for a consensus to form :-)

It definitely had me scratching my head when it was posted in the other thread with all of the talk about Stetsonia coryne but as the others have said in this thread I will go with my original thoughts and say T. cuzcoensis.
Cheers Got
