Black Mold on colonizing jars overtaken by mycellium

Hello everyone,
If you had jars that had small spots of very certainly black mold that eventually was overtaken by mycellium and now appear completely white, would you use them or chuck them?
I am aware that they could still be black in the inner part of the cake. Would breaking them apart to check for black mold and then casing them if there is none present be a viable option?
Is it possible for mycellium to beat out the black mold and for the cakes to be safe?
Or is it just better to be safe and chuck them. I think toss them. A friend is optomistic.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

The mold would still be there. You can save yourself some future trouble by not allowing those mold spores to be released into your home/grow area. If you're optimistic you could bury them outside somewhere in case they are able to fruit.

I have a jar with a tiny spot of black mold and was wondering what to do with it. I'm thinking of letting it finish colonizing in isolation then birth it outside some where, but was wondering how I would go about doing that.

Dig a little hole or plop some dirt over it. I wouldn't wait for it finish. Most molds will grow very fast. Really though, a contaminated pf cake isn't likely to fruit if it hadn't been already before the contamination.

it's only been colonizing for about 9 days now. The mycelium is probably about 60%, i'll dig a hole and birth it tomorrow and see what happens.
