 Help me get out of jury duty

I have jury duty next week. If it's a drug case, I'll get out of it easily by saying that all drugs should be legalized, just like last time. But give me some ideas about how to get out of it in case it's not a drug case. I know that I can say I'm racist if the person isn't white, but I don't want to do that. Give me something good ideas, Shroomerites!

Just do the duty man, it can be a pain in the ass but it ain't that bad, and it's interesting to see how the court system really works (or doesn't  ).

My friend got out using that line.
Just say your racist or something, it;s not liek they're going to post it on your facebook or anything. No on will know, just say you're racists and cannot remain unbiased

Nah, the only time I'd actually go though with being a juror is if I decided to do the jury nullification thing. But I can't. I need to get back to work.

I have a technique for getting out of jury duty... Just don't show up. You will not be pursued in any way, they simply do not have the resources to. They cant tell you ever got the letter.
I wouldn't mind going to jury duty if i believed in the justice system.

If it's a violent crime or something like that, say that a close friend/relative of yours was a victim of the same crime, so you want to make sure this person gets the toughest sentence possible.

Both of those were good ideas. Although I don't have the balls to not show up. It'll just cause me trouble. However, it would be funny and ironic to have to go to trial for not showing up for jury duty.

I got summoned for jury duty once. I turned in my little paper,
they called for a break, and I left. A couple days later I got
a $10 check in the mail for going.

as much as you talk about "because of the drug war..." and all this other
bullshit, this is the one time where you, as an individual can make a
difference and you'd rather let a bunch of uninformed buffoons decide the
