Out of every kit, you all say it's a money scam, so there's no kits on the internet that work?

People aren't saying its a scam meaning you'll get it and it wont work.
More so that with all the money you spend on that you can buy more than enough supplies and do if on your own.
And I bet you can grow a lot more learning the proper methods than using a kit that may or may not work.
What if you mess it up? They wont just say here's another one. You have to buy another one and if that doesn't work?
Atleasr if you make your own setup you can remake the substrate and try again for cheap.
Give a man a growkit and he can grow for the month. Teach a man to grow and he can grow for life.

All the kits on the internet work to a degree. None of them are scams as far as growing mushrooms go. They are a scam because they are taking about $20-$30 of material and selling it to you for $100+. Also most of them come with outdated information on how to grow them. Most of the kits are still using fish tank pumps and telling your to put your shit into black trash bags. Trust me, I started out kinda like you. I bought an online kit and it worked out ok, but once I figured out how easy it was, I kicked my own butt for waiting the time on a kit. If that is the only way you will learn, then buy the kit. Some people have to learn stuff the hard way. I am one of those. I am just trying to save you the same frustrations.

I'm just starting out so I bought this mega kit http://www.midwestgrowkits.com/grow-kits.html
A bit pricey and i've been told by plenty what was just said above.
I don't even suggest buying what I did unless you have the extra money.
But since I did I said fuck it and just bought it. it's gona be here tomorrow along with the dyring kit and syringes I bought.
This will be my first grow, then on my next grow i'll have a pressure cooker and learn how to make my own jars. I'm also gona try a monotub on my second grow.

LoL. That is the same place I bought my kit. Just got the next smaller sized one. It is a good kit and they jars work great, but the instructions are way outdated and the air pump, I found, does not supply nearly enough Fresh Air Exchange during fruiting. And they also tell you to build a tub-in-tub incubator but modern tek says room temerature is fine (68-78F)

The most important thing you can do with these kits is to take spore prints after and make your own spore syringes galore of a strain of p.cubensis that you like. Unless you want another tek, which you don't really, since you are starting out.
The strain you probably want of p.cubensis is called "B+".
Those kits I listed above or kits like that are actually fantastic. You get a lot from them (4 flushes) and you learn quite a bit... as well as getting spores.

Let's put it this way. $200 grow kit will get you one harvest. $200 in buying your own supplies = as many harvests you want.

I almost bought one of those midwestgrowkits kits. Out of stupidity or kindness, they listed one of their $139 grow kits for $20 opening bid and no one bid on it. The jars alone cost $10 and theirs come pre-sertlized and full of substrate so it would have been worth it just for that.

It's just over priced when you can buy much more supplies and do it yourself. And have left overs for another grow

In my opinion and exsperiance kits are a waist of money and time.
if your a beginner just follow the PF tek to a T dont add or subtract
anything. You will have sucess. Use a shot gun fruiting chamber made to
exact specs like it RR's teks. It will be much cheaper and produce much
more fruit. Hope I helped
