I agree. I think people forget how good he was partly because they tease him so much on Inside the NFL.

But Theisman's best seasons were pretty damn impressive.
Either way, my point was that McMahon is easily the worst QB to win a Super Bowl in the 80's.
I agree.

Meh. I haven't been really following it because I think most of the teams have something like that among the players. It's a rough culture and a rough game

This is going to get pretty interesting. I just want to see him go to a contender rather than finishing his career as a swashbuckling.

All I know is people better stop talking shit about the Bears.

And about Jim McMahon.

And about Jay.

THey're saying the Redskins are the team most interested in him right now.
If he knows what's good for him, he won't sign with Dan Snyder's franchise.

Go to the Broncos, turn Tebow into a fullback.

Don't know what you're watching or reading but NFL.com said the Seahawks are the first team to contact Peyton and are coming at him "checkbook a blazing". Manning told friends he liked Arizona and Seattle for new teams, so i'm thinking Miami, Seattle, or Arizona based on Peyton's personal preferences. Seattle will trow the most money at him, Arizona has Fitz, and he has a home in Miami (although I doubt he wants to play Brady twice a year for the division crown).

Aside from the fact that he doesn't ever appear on the field at the same time as Brady do you really think Peyton Manning is afraid of stiff competition?

I don't see the AFC East being as easy to dominate as the NFC West. Even if he returns to 100% I don't think he has more than 4 good years left in him. Is he really gonna be able to dominate The Pats for the next 4 years in his desperate attempt for another SB ring? To me it's doubtful, I just don't see him going to Miami, Jeff Fisher took a pass, I think Peyton will too. Plus you need to look at the salary cap space teams currently have and Kansas City, Denver, and Seattle have the most cap space.
Houston is reportedly working on an extension with Schaub and has zero interest in Manning btw.

It was an ESPN article. I'm glad to hear this though. I'd love to see him go to AZ, just because Fitz is so damn underappreciated, one of the best WRs in the league, in the prime of his career, etc.

I'd go so far as to say, Manning's never had a receiver as good as Fitz. Wayne and Marvin were very good, but Fitz is just a monster.
