Lets not be too hard on this guy. We all make mistakes, we can all have a set of circumstances which mean we get hit hard from time to time. However it would be really good if people did not have to learn their lessons after a really terrible experience. Research and take care of you and your friends before.
Hell, you can even just get sick coincidentally after ingestion or when tripping, flu, Norovirus, fatigue, panic attacks, food poisoning, etc. It all happens, has happened and will happen again.
Psychedelic substances should be treated with care, you should always under dose for a first time IMO and never mix with anything.
To be safe I steer away from RC's as a rule and keep with substances that have some kind of verifiable history of human use. Even though I am not a complete trip head and have some experience I am still completely aware that it can go tits up and am cautious. I may have missed out on some great times but I am under no illusion that I have also missed some horrendous times.
If you are a sensible person..
Don't mix substances and try and make preparations and take it easy.
Be safe.

Interesting, though. How you title it with the DMT, as if that was what caused the puking and unconsciousness.
