 Clarifying Questions on STB Tek for DMT

Hello, Shroomery! I had an account here probably 8 years ago now that I simply cannot remember any of the information to, so that's why I have a new account.
Anyway, I am waiting on all my supplies to come in for a STB DMT extraction from MHRB and I have a few questions as I am a bit confused.
Nature Boy, you have a great STB Tek here on Shroomery with pictures and I have it bookmarked for reference but have since come across some others that differ.
Let me be very clear first and foremost that I am going to attempt extractions from MHRB *POWDER* and not pieces or chunks of whole bark! If I was simply using whole bark then Nature Boy's tek would be perfect!
So questions #1 I have is how many ml's of water to use. Nature Boy's Tek suggests 600ml of water for 100g of shredded bark and ~20% more water if using 100g of powder. That means I should use 720ml of water for 100g of powder.
However, Noman's MHRB Tek on Erowid --http://www.erowid.org/plants/mimosa/mimosa_chemistry1.shtml -- says to use 15ml of water for every 1g of powder, which would be 1500ml of water!
720ml versus 1500ml is a HUGE difference! 1500 is *twice* as much water! So which is true and which should I use?
Question #2 I have is in relation to the time Nature Boy says to do the whole process versus Noman's process. Nature Boy suggests you let your water/MHRB/lye mix to sit for 24 hours before adding the naphtha, then sit yet another 24 hours after that! Noman's tek on Erowid says to let your water/MHRB/lye mix to sit for 1 hour, then after adding the naphtha to just wait minutes inbetween swirling before starting your extraction.
So there's a 48 hour part of the process versus a 1 hour 15 minute process! Like the water question I have, this is a HUGE difference!
Any help on this would be much appreciated! When I actually start the process in a few days, I may post pictures for further help. But for now, these are the only questions I have and I feel they are pretty important!

I am going to attempt the stb tek today. First time with any tek extracting DMT. I am going to follow the tek exactly. I have about 130g of MHRB powder. I will let you know how it goes, if you like,

Thanks for the reply but I abandoned this thread in favor of posting in the STB Tek thread by Nature Boy as I had better luck there.
