Folks,
In my recent attempt to consolidate my tubs for ~20 days, I've gotten tons of condensation that has challenged my intermediate growing skills. Now I need some help; I've looked through the many pages of posts involving "knotting" and "contam" and "mold" and "trich" and "bruising" and etc. Thus, I'm pretty sure that the posts below are the beginnings of trich or some mold contam. Please let me know your opinion on it.
I want to toss it soon because, as RR said, "...one should toss out contaminated substrates on sight. Don't try to cut the mold out, don't salt it don't do anything but get it outside if you ever plan on growing in that house again. There may be trich spores in the air everywhere, but not in the huge quantities you'll get from leaving a trich infested substrate indoors."

Yep. I put it outside right after I posted. Good to hear your confirmation.
And, I can't complain. After ~3 years of monotubs, I never had a contam. Just to note: this was after I tried to consolidate my colonizations for 20 days, and got a shitload of condensation that I attempted to let dry simply by fanning and the typical 24/7 oscillating fan in my GR. Obviously: did not work on this tub. Though, the other three seem to be okay. Hm. We'll see.
Big thanks for the responses.

There's no trich. That blue with the black specks looks like it could be pin mold.

I'm agreeing with Kizzle--didn't look like any Trich species I'd seen documented; and I looked everywhere. Also, it didn't sporulate or "spread" the way that Trichs are said to do. However, I don't have first-hand experience with certified Trich, so don't really know. I played it safe and tossed it; no wish for a house of spores other than edible mushroom genera.
And thanks for the note about pin mold--that makes more sense, considering the colors and ways that it reacted to hydrogen peroxide: after I sprayed it, the "moldy" spots on the pins cleared away as they grew. I picked them yesterday, at a distance of 100 yards from my house, then dumped the sub, hosed out the container; now it's soaking in 10% bleach, 10% vinegar, & H20.
My other current tubs-- http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15751975#15751975 --are doing okay, for now.
Thanks again.
