There are a lot of GPS options these days

thus the little googly eye guy next to the title.
I need a gps, but why just settle for a device that can only do one thing? Is there not a product that can be like my ipod, but will also provide navigation? Why yes! Holy shit man like all kinds of stuff.
So the first thing I found wasTmart Windows CE 6.0 tablet this Tmart 'tablet' for around $100. These seem like a good do it all, but it could be one of those devices that has all kinds of functions and does none of them well. It also seemed like the people reviewing them liked it, but only used it for gps. Not so much for mp3 playing or other stuff.

So then I thought why not an Android tablet? They have lots of applications that are useful and work. Why yes, we have those too. Dealextreme is a China company that sells all kinds of unbranded electronics. (lots of knockoffs too, I'm getting some dr dre earphones for $4) They get good reviews. Here is an Android tablet with gps for $110 that seems to do it all. Dealextreme android tablet gps

My concern with this is Android navigation software doesn't seem to be up to par with the Win CE. I read reviews about these guys pissed off because the software company is so retarded about licensing. That stuff is pretty much free for Win CE as I understand.
Or I could maybe find a gps receiver and attach it to my iPod? Yep, but it costs almost as much as one of the cheaper Win CE tablets and that pisses me off. TomTom makes a nice little bluetooth gps receiver and you jailbreak the iPod and load the TomTom maps apparently and off you go. I think if I could get that to work for about $20 I would go for it.
So if I knew more about the Windows CE software I might go for it. When I look at the pictures, the graphics look a little basic or underdeveloped. I know it probably doesn't matter, but what can I say. I like pretty screens. That why I gotta have the album artwork on my iPod.
The Android tablets and phones look great and have lots of features, but I really need a good gps and if it doesn't do that i just fukd myself.
I don't know about the iPod option. I mean I just don't have much to go on. I guess the receiver picks up signals well, but what software do you use?
Ok nobody is going to read this whole rambling mess, but if you did, here is a reward...
