I wanna know how you experience the Shroomery. This is how I see it:

Religion threads - atheists vs a lone christian, hippies and the undecided claim to be open minded/agnostic and therefore better than everyone else. Several "enlightened" folks make posts and then silently resent everyone for not showering them with praise.

Gub'ment threads - Conspiracy theory posters work up the nerve to post in the Pub, get schooled by Pris for exaggerating the content of a bill, UK posters hate on the US, zappa goes on a tirade of how they are terrorism enablers.

Racism threads - "Its Culture" vs genetics, stereotypes abound, inevitably someone gets butthurt b/c his imaginary black friends wouldn't like this one bit. Mostly take place in the anon forum.

Guilt Trip threads - You thought you were just fucking around on the internet, but little did you know you were actually supporting Rape Culture, the genocide of native Americans, slavery, and Satan, you're just not in tune enough with universal consciousness to know it.

Hero Worship threads - Whose turn is it to have their cock collectively sucked, Bill Hicks or Terrence McKenna?

Woe Is Me threads - I'm a junkie who just can't catch a break, or a suburban kid whose life is ruined because mom threw out my DMT extraction, maybe a thief who's ranting about how unfair it is that he got arrested. Isn't that fucking bullshit?

Guy Losing His Shit threads - Most people can handle psychedelics, but not this guy, he's ranting on youtube about white dragon societies, or he's figured it all out and sees patterns in the numbers. Oh well, he was probably crazy before he used drugs, it'll never happen to us.

Opinion threads - Cars, clothes, music, shows, etc, most people have a fun discussion, but somebody always finds something to take offense to and rant about. Then the thread dies.

The Funnies thread - :trololol:

What am I missing? How do you see this site?

PArt of my life for a long time, lots of good memories. first shroom info source i looked to for guidance...ummmm source of many lols. back in the day tits , awesome growlogs and super delicious melts with a side o steak fries.

Shroomery is just my outlet man.

I come on here to read thangs. Mostly personal things. I like hearing about other peoples lives.

I also like to vent on here a lot, cause 90% of the people who reply in my vent threads are kind, and helpful.

Also, drug advice. Though I've quit all drugs. ( except the other night when I went on a klono binge )

But yep. I don't pay too much attention to the drama. Sometimes I do, but I just get into :trolldance:

IMO the shroomery is a giant collection of young, irresponsible druggies who lack all sense of self responsibility and think the solution to their drug induced psychosis is to take benzos. they are ignorant, uninformed, idealistic hippies who think every human on earth should dose LSD and fuck in a giant orgy.

still, there are plenty of lulz. that's what keeps me coming back

Yeah, most of the cough syrup drinkers/seed eaters are just kids living at home...looking for ways to get fucked up. However, there also happens to be a good number of students, even working professionals, who have their shit together. Besides drinking and the occasional smoke, I dont even do drugs. I know Im not the only one :shrug:

id rather debate philosophy/spirituality in the pub than in the appropriate forum...that place is frequented by 3 or 4 posters that tear everything to shreads and then high five each other because they shot something down.
