 MDMA pills with very strong chemical odor

Alright, so there really isn't much to say. My first time doing mdma, I bought a gel cap filled with powder and this time I purchased tablets with different pictures on them. One of them was a white pill with a ying yang symbol and the other was blue with a different symbol which is difficult to describe. All the pills have a distinct chemical odor which really does not seem healthy. That is actually the most prominent characteristic of these pills, the fact that they smell like a balloon or laundry detergent. Anyways I am going to be hanging out with my friends and smoking some shisha once finals are over and was wondering if it would be safe to take two of these and my other gelcap filled with mdma powder that I know is legit. Could I die from this dose alone and what do you think might be in these pills?

You could and probably will die by consuming 3 pills when you don't even know what they are. It could be anything MDMA, PMA, methamphetamine, ANYTHING.
Best best is getting a test kit or consuming one only.

I just smelled the mdma gelcap and it had no smell what so ever. I opened up a tupperware container and took a big whiff and the chemical odor almost overpowered the smell of the weed which was once in there before. I don't want to have an underwhelming night, could I just take one then wait 45 minutes to see if there are any effects and then take one or two more?

Do more research dude, the lack of it could kill you one day.
No. 45 minutes is not enough, some drugs like PMA take slot longer to hit. 2 - 3 hours is good enough. I'd take the legit MDMA then wait for the come down (3+ hours) to pop ONE of the unknowns.

Dude, have you ever heard of real MDMA having an overwhelming chemical odor?? I haven't. Have you ever heard of people selling off shit as MDMA that is some other dangerous chemical? I have.
So can you take one and then more 45 minutes later? Sure you can.
Can you do so with any reasonable expectation of being safe. Hell no.
As always the choice is yours, but there's absolutely no way in hell anyone here can guarantee you are going to be fine doing that. I think you're only continuing to ask because you want someone to justify your taking of these things. No one here is going to be able to tell you what it is, but there is a MASSIVE chance that it's not MDMA because I've had my fair share and it never smells weird.

The strong chemical odor makes me think the suspect ones could be mephedrone or methylone(or any rc for that matter)

DON'T FUCK AROUND WTIH PMMA.
5 deaths (2 people I personally knew) in my area in the last 2 months from one batch with PMMA. PMMA takes longer to hit you than MDMA and for that reason people often take a lot more than they should, and it is also much easier to OD on.
Test that shit if you can. If not, take one and see how it is.
Ecstasy pills in general are garbage man. Respect your body and respect its limits

I think I will take two hits of this stuff and one more hit of legit molly in the case that there are no negative symptoms. I hate the illegal drug market, I wish I could just go to a store and know what I'm getting but I am determined to make this a good night since finals will be coming to an end. What is the ld50 in milligrams for someone who is about 65 kg?

The LD50 of a chemical that you don't know what it is? Not sure. But you seem determined to kill yourself in order to "have a good night" so leave a note with how much you took so that we'll have a good idea of the LD50 after the toxicology reports come back and the compound has been determined.

I was assuming it was PMMA based on what you told me. My friend who purchased these might be taking them before hand so that will indicate whether or not I got MDMA.

Assumptions are what kill people. Not saying you'll die, but there are other terribly shitty things that can happen besides just dying. And MDMA doesn't have a strong chemical odor so that pretty much rules that possibility out.

Many have said it before: Do not consume anything you don't have the slightest idea of what it could be. You could just as well go to your next forest and consume any mushroom you see hoping that it might get you high.
You want to have a fun night. Well, if you don't comply with a basic set of rules of safer use it might just as well be the most horrible (or even last) night of your life.
Do not consume anything you have not identified, especially when it seems suspicious (like a strong chemical odor when there should not be one). If you don't want to listen to that get yourself a test kit and have a look whether you actually got what you paid for. Try to figure out whether the same kind of pill has been tested already by looking it up online (even though there never is a guarantee).
Most importantly: DO NOT consume more in case you do not get any effect after one, two or three hours.
This is also the reason why people try not to get a lot of different pills, but equal ones. Of course, the assumption that they all contain the same kind and amount of the drug can be flawed, but it is a lot safer than just believing your dealer.
