is it just me or is everthing been late this year(2011 season)? All the plants and crops were behind all season and fungi seems also delayed, its mid jan. and im still finding P. pelli. like mad. makes me wonder if some later comers are still yet to emerge in my area, like P. stuntzi.

pelliculosa might still be around in some areas also. Tulip season was super late as well as most other crops that I encountered by about 1 month... so it would kinda still make it the beginning of December.

Everything was about a month behind this year, I agree. That alot of plants showed up a month late would seem to be a symptom of spring, summer and fall showing up a month later than typical. Its pretty interesting how consistent the month delay was here in the PNW.
Pellis are more adapted to the freezing than other PNW Psilocybes from what I can see, they are more adapted to mountain environments after all.

I have seen a bunch of buds on trees and a couple of my garlic and onions have sprouted along with a few more flower bearing bulbs like tulips and daffodils, hopefully this is an indication of an early spring and hopefully this will not kill my plants. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
