I have felt this only when I was under influence of some drug, usually some heavy weed. Were you? Other than that I don't have any qualification or knowledge to help.

No, I quit drugs a couple months back.
and when I did drugs it was usually just a bowl of some mid grade weed.

Schizhoprenia defenetly brings about changes in perception. Maybe it was just a feeling.

Bummer dude. I have had the exact feeling you describe with the mirror before, but after psychosis and long stimulant binges. Hopefully it passes.?

Well, no that you mention that, I remember the day before all this started happening I had a REALLY rough day with hallucinations.
I home alone the entire day, flooded with voices and visuals. I couldn't even go outside without the tree's talking to me, and freaking me the fuck out.
I also didn't sleep that night. ( Well, I feel asleep around 3am )
So maybe it's a combination of the over-whelming hallucinations and lack of sleep.
I hope it passes.

Interesting.. Any reason for you to experience hallucinations? On a normal day?

Last night while I was brushing my teeth I was starring at myself intently in the mirror, and I just didn't feel like that was me in the mirror. You know, like when I cat attacks a mirror because it doesn't know that the cat in the mirror is itself.
That's kind of how i felt.
Also, when I was taking a shower, I was looking down at my body, and it didn't seem real. It all seemed so fake. Like it wasn't me. Like, my thoughts and personality are detached from my body.
I also woke up this morning, and didn't know where I was. ( but I'm not sure if that fits into anything at all. )
any input?

I don't know why I hallucinate. There isn't enough research on Schizophrenia.
Well, I'm sure there are some theories on why people get Schizophrenia and they hallucinate, I haven't bothered to look. It's depressing.

I'll do that. I should probably delete this after though.. I'm not sure if it's considered spamming.
