maybe it's just karmic cleansing in a sense? releasing old junk?

Yep! I thought there was something wrong for awhile, but then I realized I wanted to know what it felt like to be deluded for a while. Didn't really like it. Time to have fun.

no explanation necessary in my mind I just ride it out
it's not frequent and it always comes at times where it is not debilitating
so aside from the suffering it brings on an individual level it is harmless
